When we introduced ourselves the other day, we said that we’d made a start on 3 pieces of work, and one of them is a “knowledge hub”. The goal is to find ways to help clarify and easily share technical and service design standards across Welsh public service delivery organisations.
Our work will be shaped by user needs
As we explore how digital can improve public services for users in Wales, we want to help those delivering public services in Wales do their jobs as effectively and efficiently as possible. We also want them to be supported and have access to the information they need, when they need it.
In order to make something useful we need to start by talking to the people who are working on digital transformation in Wales, to find out what will help them.
Our users are the people who deliver public services in Wales
If you deliver public services in Wales then you are our user. You’re the people we want to help and support through this piece of work. We need your help. If you’re working delivering public services in Wales on anything even vaguely relating to digital transformation or you’re interested in how digital transformation can help you deliver better services then we’d like to talk to you.
We’re interested in talking to people involved in delivering public services in Wales in:
- Welsh Government
- Local Government
- Welsh Government arm’s length bodies and companies
- Third sector
It doesn’t matter if your role is full time or part time, permanent or fixed term, we want to understand more about what you need.
If that’s you, please get in touch
We know that everyone’s busy, so we’ll try to keep it short: no more than an hour. The interview will be with one of our user researchers and it will be informal and relaxed. And we’re very flexible on timings — we’ll do the interviews when it suits you.
You don’t need to do any prep — these are user research interviews, not tests. There aren’t any right or wrong answers, just your views and experiences. Those are what we want to capture. All the interviews are 100% confidential and anonymous, so you can be open and honest.
If you’d like to help us out, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org Please include your name, role, organisation and a phone number and we’ll be in touch.
